Visions of darkness inspired by nightmares

When the veils of artifice are removed, the dark, deceitful, dangerous and even decaying forces of nature come out to play.

History No Longer Applies to You

A special piece dedicated to those affected by the complex money system during the times of pandemic. The duality of money, its possession, its loss, its existence and its lack are something that have affected everyone throughout history in an intangible and yet very tangible way.

A CELEBRATION OF LEGACY

Native Tales

Native Tales

Celebrating life and loss of an immortal culture.

Echoes of moments gone by. Immortal souls sing out from the skies. The pain of loss is palpable, but the star constellations relay their living stories. The shared wisdom of ancient ancestors guiding the way. Lost but never forgotten.

Black Lives Matter

What these eyes have seen.

Special one-off pieces to share solidarity with individuals who are overlooked, denied privilege or pushed to the seams simply because of the colour of their skin. The piece expresses hope, opportunity and the dreams with which we are all born. Different features, different colours, different textures: that individuality is what makes us all beautiful.

Sculptures & Re-Imagined Antiques

Re-Imagined Sculptures

Ancient pieces sharing stories

across time.

Babak's fascination with antiques and precious objects began when he was just a child. He believed that each object was alive and would be able to share stories of all it had witnessed and experienced.

This stunning collection of re-imagined antiques takes ancient and classical pieces and brings them back to life in a contemporary way.

Each sculpture is multi-dimensional and multi-faceted and can be interpreted differently depending on the angle it is being viewed from.

All original antiques in each piece are Greek or Roman in origin from the 3rd to 5th centuries A.D., and each piece is constructed with mixed media and bears the artist's signature style.

Greek and Roman original pieces ca. 3-5 Century A.D.

Long lost from today's world, these ancient pieces of human heritage are once again part of a new story and have been brought back to life. Each piece has been carefully restored and preserved without altering any of its original original textures or features and has been used in re-imagining completely new sculptures so that these pieces may be displayed and share their stories with the world once again.
